The Casper Heritage Harvest Festival

The second part of A Folk Halloween Experience's mission (exhuming creativity is the first) is to restore community to our celebration of a more authentic Halloween.

To this end, the 2nd Annual Casper Heritage Harvest Festival seeks to benefit local community, youth, and non-profit organizations and worthy causes in order to restore community to our celebration of Halloween.   Just like many who grew up here remark the annual parade has become one long advertisement, and hope to de-commercialize Halloween by reviving our older traditions, we hope the Casper Heritage Harvest Festival rekindles community in the Casper region and beyond.

On this page, you'll find information about the separate activities of our affiliated community partners who share our vision and are willing collaborators and partners who share our aims.

This paranormal investigation (aka ghost hunt) of one of the most notoriously haunted places in downtown Casper, WY, The Casper Elks Lodge, benefits The National Historic Trails Center Foundation as 100% of proceeds go to this worthy cause.

🎃 Join Us for a Spine-Chilling Ghost Hunt Fundraiser! 👻

Are you ready for a paranormal adventure? Help support the The National Historic Trails Center Foundation and uncover the supernatural at the Elk's Lodge in Casper, Wyoming (108 E 7th St, Casper, WY 82601) this Halloween season!

Hosted by The Casper Ghostbusters Ecto Interceptor Project, this thrilling ghost hunt promises to be an experience you won’t forget!

🎃 This event is tied to The Folk Halloween Experience!  Azriel and the lead Casper ghostbuster are friends and share an interest in history and educating our community about local history through paranormal investigations to ignite an interest in history in the public interest of historic preservation of our oldest buildings and spaces.

Limited spots available, so grab your tickets now and prepare for a night of ghostly encounters!

Thanks to the generosity of The Casper Elks Lodge, the volunteering of time and energy by The Casper Ghostbusters Ecto-Interceptor Project, and ticketing provided by Theatre of the Poor through the partnership developed by Azriel Anthony, Bruce Berst, Gena Jensen, Nathan Soper, Lodge President Wendy DeGroot, and Connie Thompson, we raised $575 for historic preservation and awareness.  Won't you join us, again?

Although it's the same building, it's never the same paranormal investigation.

The Theatre of the Poor 👈 is graciously hosting and sponsoring ticketing for this fundraiser for the second year in a row.  Please take some time to familiarize yourself with unique live theatre experiences that leave you thinking they provide.

A Folk Halloween Experience's Casper Heritage Harvest Festival with their community partnerships with the Casper Elks Lodge with The Casper Ghostbusters Ecto-Interceptor Project raised $575 for the Downtown Historic Preservation Commission & National Historic Trails Center Foundation

Theatre of the Poor's Director, Dr. William Conte, is the 2024 recipient of the Wyoming Arts Council Fellowship for the Performing Arts.  A Folk Halloween Experience's Drew Stratton-Capps and Asheton Stratton-Capps are actors on loan from the GREX who shared Azriel's vision and love of Halloween and became part of our merry band of pirates.
